I vacuumed & straightened up the living room, vacuumed the rugs in the kitchen and sucked (with the vacuum) any dog hair from the corners.
Did I ever mention our dogs kick off hair like a 1800's ship bleeds rats? It's not as cute as you'd think.
And I did some spot cleaning on our carpet and ran the steam cleaner over those areas. As Robb used to sing in a high school musical he was in, "Company's Comin'!"
Well guess who's coming to dinner tonight?!
Leon!!!
With any luck they'll be able to leave the hospital around noon-ish.I want his first impressions of his new home to be good ones... (at least that's what I told Meri this morning.... First impressions are very important!)
Also quite possibly some folks might want to come over to meet him...
Have fun snuggling that bundle of joy.
ReplyDeleteAwwww!!! Your grandbaby's coming home. So sweet.
ReplyDeleteNothin' wrong with making a good first impression! ☺ Enjoy your snuggle-time. Happy Friday! ☺
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend with baby Leon!
ReplyDeleteWOW that was quick! When my DIL had her baby on the military base, she HAD to stay 3 days and if SHE wanted, she could have stayed more.
ReplyDeleteNot me, I remember it being like a 'drive-thru' delivery especial if you had them before noon!
I do hope it is a good homecoming for baby Leon!
ReplyDeleteI bet you had a great weekend! Can't wait to see more pictures!!
ReplyDeleteI can relate to dog hair, cat hait too! I bought a Dyson vacuum and it's the best cleaning decision I've made! LOL Works wonders!
Have a great week!
Jill
I have to be honest and say that he probably wouldn't notice the spots on the carpet, the dog hair on the other hand he would have seen.
