So Leon comes into my room at 5:30am today. "I need someone to watch over me while I'm downstairs!" ??? wha??? Go back to bed, it's the middle of the night!
He did, but I could hear him crying all the way back to his room or his dad's. I wasn't sure until this morning when I finally DID get up. And he was asleep again on his dad's bed.
Then at 7:30am, I got a call from Maddy to talk. ??? wha??? This is WAY early for her! But she's an RA and it's Arbor Day. Who knew?! She had to wake up all the freshmen girls at 6:30 so they could all go raking the campus grounds. That's how they do the day.
Come rake at my house girls!!!
Actually I did all that a month before Easter on that real warm snap back in early March.
What are these kids doing getting up so early?
It must be the trees...
I'm going to celebrate Arbor day by trying to find out why the car's engine light has suddenly lit up.
YAY me!
Happy Arbor Day People!!!
Careful of those trees... They're scary.
Being an RA is not an easy job. And to be honest, I would probably rebel if I had to get up that early to rake leaves. I'm not a morning person or a leaf raker to be honest.
ReplyDeleteOh I hate those lights. And I especially hate the tire pressure light because I know I have to get to the tire place pronto. That light is always right.
ReplyDeleteDid you ever find out what Leon wanted to do downstairs? At least he was responsible and knew he should have supervision-whatever he was going to do.
