I'm sorry if I brought the WHOLE mood down yesterday.  Sigh...  It was a tough day.

The furnace does NOT need to be replaced!  Well, it actually does, but for now it's ok.  The watery dripping behind it was a clue.  For the record, change the furnace filter whenever you do a time change in your house.  Don't just pull the old one out and say, "I'll pick up a new one today." Because you won't and it will cause problems like this.  A hose was plugged up.

The furnace guy thought that was the only problem at first and then realized some timing board needed to be replaced.  The furnace works if the blower is on all the time, but if it needs to kick on, there is a problem.  So it's on solid and probably running up my electricity bill, but he'll be back.  I haven't paid yet.

So minor compared to what it could be.  

As for the car situation, I'll be buying a new battery today for the Edge.  Maybe returning the bad one from the Sweetness as it was less than 9 months old when it died.  And then the prayers, of course, will continue.

Maddy invited us to a cookie making extravaganza at her house this weekend!  It sounds like so much fun and calories!  But I'm up for it!  The diet can start again Monday.  It always does! :)

Meri and I made some protein granola bars this morning and they're yummy!  Those will be our morning and afternoon snacks.  AND I'm trying to drink more water.  The toilet paper expense will go up I'm sure. :)
