Kicking a dead horse

Gotta show you our newest bucking bronco in the house!  Leon is ROCKING this horse... 

Pay no attention to the miscellaneous clutter on the buffet.  There are some Christmas presents that haven't filtered to their designated rooms yet.  And some things that I'm just not sure what to do with yet.

Maybe I'll take care of that like the kids used to.  Put a blanket over it.  "Out of sight, out of mind."  Tacky?  Yeah, probably.

The boy has fallen off the horse a couple times, but with a little instruction knows how to get back on by himself now.  

I need to pick up some 9V batteries to get this thing neighing again.  It seems to me that I used to have to give it a kick on the tummy to make it whinny...  We'll get some new batteries and see if that is still the secret.

A lot of folks need a signal like that to get moving. 

Motivational Speaking 101

Hey all!!! I've been lousy visiting your posts lately and I'm sorry! There's no place to go but UP, right?

I watched Alfred Hitchcock's North by Northwest with Meri last night instead of sewing... Wow that movie is long... BUT now that that movie is out of the way, I should be able to get the baptism dress cut out tonight, right??

Have you ever had motivation just sucked right out of you? It usually happens during supper for me... But that's what a NEW day is for, right?!

I've got to get our bills done today and get organized... But once that's done, I've got the rest of the month to do things "I" want to do, right?!!

We're in the middle of a big big snow storm and I guess I'll be snow blowing over my lunch. But it's a workout!!! right?!!

I guess what I'm saying is... there is a silver lining to everything. You've just got to look really really very very hard sometimes.

I need glasses.
