Cabin fever...

My sons car died yesterday. Robb thinks the starter, who knows? The mechanic I'm sure... but we haven't taken it anywhere yet and it still sits out in front of the house. Robb is planning on calling his brother-in-law tonight and have him diagnose it over the phone. He's good at that.

Unfortunately my son's job involves his car because he delivers pizzas, so he's using my car today. Darn. I feel stranded!

Can't go get ice cream over my lunch break, nor the post office, convenience store, mall or bank... Not that I had any plans to go to any of those places today, but it would be nice to know I had the choice!

Shoot - I just remembered my after work plans... Not sure how that will work out either... Might have to cancel visiting a friend and then ride bikes to Meri's TaeKwondo class.

Also Robb's car is making an awful squealy brakey sound that doesn't sound good either. When it rains, it definitely pours, doesn't it???

I'll tell you what!!?! I'm taking my car on Saturday with a bunch of ASG (American Sewers Guild) ladies and we're going to go shopping. I hope everyone's cars are fixed by then, because mine isn't staying home...

Vehicles...
My son's truck had to have a major overhaul. It ended up costing $870 and it 'purrs like a kitten' now. My husband got some profit sharing money right before this. God always provides it before we need it. But sometimes I wish it wasn't needed quite so badly!

The lemon blackberry cake was not a traditional wedding cake. It was delicious! Everyone raved about it and there was none left. You can see it on a previous wedding post.

Ugh. I don't even want to talk about mechanics and stuff.
I hate my car. Wait - in case it can somehow read this, I LOVE MY CAR!!! Don't want it to die on me.
Anyway, do you think your car will smell like pizza the next time you drive it??

Hahha, your husband cracks me up! Ugh, car repairs. You never know when they'll creep up on you, and when they do, they always seem to come at the worst time! Hope it all gets figured out soon so you can go about life!
