Oct 30, Random summaries

Can you believe that this is the last Halloween party I will ever go to my kids school for? Next year in 5th grade, parental involvement is frowned on... WAHHH!! I'm going to do this sobbing after the Christmas, Valentines Day, End of the year party too. I go to them all. The teachers are annoyed. Oh well.

Meri was a lovely bride with her lovely attendants graciously holding her train. It's not a very good idea to wear a tank top under a bridal gown, but in some cases when Meri bent over, it might have been... I didn't realize that it was so low cut.

The goodies were awesome and delish. Someone brought eyeballs made of jello and dared the teacher to eat one. At the very loud chanting of EAT IT, EAT IT, she finally caved after looking like she was trying not to gag. They were very realistic looking.

The kids played the relay race where you have to run find your shoes, put them on and race back to your team. Luckily Meri never ties her shoes or this could've been bad.

Since I was there, I got to pull Meri out of school just after 3 and we headed home. As we passed the golf course, we saw this...
I had taken a different way into town earlier and hadn't seen the flooding. This area floods every year and the golf course finally got a new club house that is build MUCH higher than the last one. They finished it just in time from the looks of things.
Meri has a friend staying over night tonight. Then tomorrow night, we hit the HuHot for some fabulous Mongolian food made by authentic Mongols. They don't all look like Mongols, but what do I know?

Have a great weekend!

A beautiful bride indeed! It looks like her classmates were also having fun holding her train.
I hope the flooding isn't too serious. Have a great weekend and enjoy your dinner out!

I don't even know what a Mongol is, so it wouldn't matter to me! :)
She looks lovely as a little bride. I wanna see pics of the eyeball jello things!

She looks wonderful! And I no longer can go to school parties. It's funny because we adopted a family from England and my MIL goes to the functions for their little girl. It is hard to give up the parties. Just adopt someone!
