The single chin days.

Way back when... when dinosaurs roamed the earth and little Laura Ingalls pulled Nellie Olson's ringlets... Or was it the other way around?

I was fresh out of college. My brand spanking new husband had graduated a semester earlier than me and had already found a job programming 3 hours from my hometown. Eventually after we got married, they hired me too. We were both young, brilliant and cute dresses fit me.

Why am I going on about how old I am? and my early married life? Well... let me tell you.

On Saturday, we attended a surprise birthday party for my old boss, who is still Robb's boss. When the boss-man arrived at the party, he was truly surprised. Kind of reminded me of the ONE surprise birthday party I threw for Robb when we were first married. But you can read about that here. I don't do those anymore...

The boss told us about some pictures he found in his desk and ran back to his office next door to grab them. It was so fun seeing OLD OLD Pictures of Robb and myself as well as co-workers we worked with throughout the years. Some good, some not so good... Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any copies of them... So I found some early days of ours in an old album this morning. There were pictures of us holding various babies of ours at company retreats to Embassy Suites in various cities. Reminding us vividly of the horrid diaper blowout in the car seat as we drove up to the hotel one cold Christmassy day... or the time we short-sheeted a co-workers bed during one such retreat and other notable events.

We had a water balloon fight on a co-workers last day of work as a great send off once.

It was definitely a blast from the past!

Ah the good old days! When kids were young and obedient. (HA!) and gas was less than $1.50 a gallon. and teenagers didn't cause us to pull our hair out.

Oh! And my chin didn't stutter...

I have some old pictures of myself in my work's desk drawer. They're there because I hate them that much.
Something funny, I think I had the same couch that were in these pictures. Well not the same, same but it had that fabric on it.
