I got hooked on the new series and record all the episodes. They're getting geared up for a new season so for the past week or so, they had an old V series marathon. My tivo now has 10+ hours worth of the old V and I'm almost done with it. It's kind of nice when you can zip thru the commercials and boring parts...
I mean... do I really need hear how some girl is afraid she's carrying an alien baby? I get it! I get it! You're scared! Duh...
And I think it's hilarious that she named the baby girl Elizabeth. Think of the nicknames SHE'LL get in elementary school. Lizzy the lizard tongue girl! (She, um. has.a.lizard.tongue.)
The old special effects are so lame! Did you know you could kill a lizard alien by shooting them in the shoulder? They talk like it's oh so hard... but it's really not...
The season that I'm watching is from 1983. Yep - I was a junior in high school and thought this was pretty cool. I mean when the baby stuck it's tongue out.... whoa!
But I have to tell you why I really watched it... It had Marc Singer in it. Wow... those eyes!
Oh THAT'S not the right picture! He wasn't the beastmaster in this series...

Kat's been watching episodes of the original Land of the Lost series from 1974. It had some rockin' special effects. LOL!

We netflixed the whole series!!! Totally loved it! I was in college in 1983 and didn't watch it then! It was all Miami Vice!! hahaha!

I got my son the original Clash of the Titans movie from long ago. Thought he would love it. Special effects were so awful. He couldn't believe I thought it was cool when I was a kid.

In '83 I was in college, too busy partying uhm studying to watch tv so I'm sorry don't remember that show.....
