Woohoo! Time to kill!

I found out yesterday that, had I known, I could've taken the whole day off due to New Years Day being on Saturday! But as it stands, I only found out late yesterday afternoon and I have too much to do work-wise to be gone all day. So I'm taking off at noon today! Going to take the girls and do that prom dress fabric shopping thing this afternoon instead of tomorrow. Besides almost everything is closed tomorrow anyway. I'll take pics!

Also forgot to go visit my best friend yesterday after work. Can you believe I forgot it was Thursday? Well I did. I hope she will forgive me... I suck as a friend!
Last night, Maddy's Pep band played at the ISU ladies basketball game. She was down in front being harrassed by the ISU mascot Cy and had her sticks taken by him. Silly bird! I tried to video as many songs as I could. The last part of the game was pretty intense, so I missed a few. And I thought it was pretty funny that only two older ladies got up to dance to the YMCA song! So I recorded it... I actually think I know them! hmmmm blackmail material...

After eating Meri out of all her Christmas money (She OFFERED!) we made it home in time to get out all the sleeping bags Maddy needed for her ginormous sleepover. I think there were 8 teen girls sleeping in my living room last night. At 4:30, it sure sounded like 15... When I got up they were making spaghetti. Maddy doesn't like spaghetti... But she assured me that since they were putting syrup and chocolate chips on it, it would be awesome.

She should be perky for our shopping this afternoon... *where's the eye rolling emoticon?*
