Our Taekwondo teacher came over last night to deliver a new Taekwondo uniform for Meri. Since she lost her uniform jacket several weeks ago, we have NOT been able to find it anywhere. So we gave up and ordered a new outfit entirely.
They come as a set so we couldn't just order the jacket. Besides... the jacket would be pure white while the pants are kind of dingy white...

and testing is this weekend. So we're down to the wire.
I get this feeling that as soon as I sew this patch on and she wears it once, we're going to find her jacket.

But her old uniform was a hand-me-down from her sister so she's never really had her own. Testing for her red belt is a big deal! It's only one step away from a black belt... And she's worked so hard to get here.
I think she deserves her very own, brand spanking new uniform, don't you?

That is so exciting! (The testing, not losing the old jacked ;-)) I hate losing something when you KNOW it has to be somewhere in your house. HATE that feeling.
Congrats to Meri! My son did TKD for a few years and enjoyed it. She really does deserve her own uniform.

Agree she needs her own new one though I am sure the new one will show up in few days.
She is impressive. DJ was in Karate for years and I have to say that he was a bit dingy for a while. I wonder if you could die it white again? hmmm
