My families spring break starts at 5pm today!!!
It's not going to be your typical spring break. No major traveling, no TSA guys to cringe through. No beaches...
We're helping some friends move tomorrow, my parents move for a couple days after that. Included in the 9 days of freedom are lots of game board time with Meri, sewing, possibly a shopping trip, St. Patricks Day with the bagpipe band, an ASG meeting, a big taco feed at church, a St. Patrick's Day meal to prepare and enjoy and then sleeping in.and the sleeping in part is a big one!
Oh - a bit of trivia for the day. Did you know that one year ago, we spent our spring break in Branson, Missouri. I got to meet Annie Jones from Real Life Living and her little Kat IRL! I got to be featured by the SITS girls and gained a bunch of my loyal followers that day. It happened to be on St. Patrick's Day!
I may or may not be in too much next week. It all depends on what time I "naturally" wake up. YEP! No alarm clocks around here next week!!!
Well, back to work to wrap up a million loose ends before I get to close my office door for a "sort of" stay-ca-tion!

Hard to believe it's been a year already!
We have nothing planned for spring break next week. Shane will be at work or in court (possible jury duty), and Kat and I will hang out at home. I'm going to try to find something fun for us to go out and do at least one day, but so far, my mind is a blank.

A taco feed at your church? I might convert! Enjoy your time off, rest up after helping with the moves and don't rub it in about the lack of alarm clocks! (So jealous...)
I hadn't even begun to think of ways to entertain my kids during Spring Break. I still have a few hours, I'm sure I'll think of something.
Spring Break for the public schools is 2 two days long, and it's just wrapped around Easter weekend...yep, 4 days including Sat. and Sun.lol

then we had daylight savings time the week after...
