Just kidding...
The wedding is in 5 days... Last night, Tiff and I picked up the centerpieces for the tables and tried them out on the family. They look good... We bought some clear bowls and some burgandy and clear water beads that swell in the water. Also some garnet colored gem stones and floaty votive candles.
The little kids tables at the reception will be very wet, because these water beads are fun to play with...
We also picked up the bouquet supplies for the bridesmaids.
Yesterday I finished Meri and Maddy's dresses completely. They just needed a few gem strands here and there or a hook and eye. 3 dresses DONE!
Also Maddy invited a friend over that needed straps on her homecoming dress. Luckily the straps were just some fancy ribbon and it was a snap to sew them on. Took all of 10 minutes, 8 of which was gabbing with her mom who used to be a neighbor and re-threading the sewing machine. On the list to find before Saturday. ROUND tableclothes in various colors, garnet colored ties, white votive candles and icicle lights. OH and shoes for Meri and Tiff.
On the list to sew or finish before Saturday. Ringbearer pillow with harness for a dog, 4 shawls, my dress, ribbons for the bridesmaids bouquets, a baby shower dress that's been almost finished for several months ( the baby is 6 months old but will be here this weekend for the wedding!)
I haven't even THOUGHT about the food yet. Tiffany has a layout of what the buffet table will look like and what's planned, so that's good. Robb is going to do some meat smoking on Friday and hopefully he and I can go get all the groceries early that morning.
Oh goodness... I won't have time to use the restroom this week, will I? Where's the salt?

Ok, deep breath...... ;-)
Don't forget to breathe!
And, please please show us pictures of all the stuff you talked about making!!!
I'm just going to say a little prayer for you.
I know it will all work out just remember to take a few minutes for you here and there.
Girl, you know how to get things done! Can't wait to see some pics of this wedding!
Oh, how I remember the frantic week leading up to Rebekah's wedding. White votive candles - we found them at Walmart and also Hobby Lobby. Those water beads? My friend's daughter used them at her wedding reception. They fixed the flower arrangements on the tables the night before and the next morning, the beads had swollen more than they allowed for and the flowers were all over the tables. They had to go buy more just hours before the ceremony. So just make sure you only use a few!
Hope you find some time to pee. That is very important, you know.
Good luck with all you have to finish this week.
What a crazy week! Good luck with everything.
