If We've Forgotten Anything, Oh Well.

Guess what!? I get tomorrow off from work!!!!

Well, my official work anyway... You know what I'm going to do?!

EVERYTHING that couldn't be done in the last 2.5 months... I have to purchase plates, silverware, cups, tablecloths and food. Robb is taking the day off too and smoking as much meat as possible. We're hoping to get as much food done early as we possibly can. AND I need to clean the house. I think there are little bits of garnet and white colored fabric scraps in every single corner and fiber of the carpet.

Good thing the wedding isn't going to be here!

Then in the afternoon, my daughter-in-law-to-be is going to give each of us a consultation at her beauty school. She needs 10-15 consultations done and get some bookings for November when she's ready to start cutting hair, doing manicures, etc. It's part of her grade. And she is dying (get it? dying?) to put highlights in my hair.

I'll be ok with that as long as she doesn't insist on giving me a Brazillion bikini wax, WHICH for your information, she has not brought up with me... I'm not quite sure why... Chances are she's not qualified to do those just yet.

They do Manzillions too...

If any of my readers are local, EMAIL me! I'll get you a consultation too. Of course whenever is convenient with you. Tiffany would appreciate it! I can't believe how cheap the services are at a beauty school! $8 for a hair cut? whoa. But of course they ARE just learning how, so it may not be perfect. But hey! It's better than me cutting my bangs with my husbands mustache trimmer when I miss my regular beautician's appointments.

So anyway, this is pretty much my weeks end. I won't be posting again until Monday when I'll have boo-coo wedding pictures to show.

Over lunch today, I'll be finishing the handwork on the four shawls I made Tuesday night. Very simple ones, but pretty. And considering the temp this weekend will be 65 degrees for a high, the little strapless dresses will need something at the park! I'm so glad I left the long sleeves on my dress! This morning I sewed the buttons on my blouse and did the handwork on the edging while Meri was getting ready for school. Oh and over lunch also, I'll be finishing the handwork on my skirt waist and starting on the hem.
I still have to do some more handwork on the doggy ring bearer pillow too so she can't shake it off. The rings better be securely fastened on that thing!

I plan to have all the sewing DONE by bedtime tonight. That is my goal, because tomorrow is totally full. I am planning on going to Maddy's cross country meet around supper time, but other than that, the sewing machines are mine!!! bwahahaha.

Really, I just need one...

I think it can be done. I guess it has to be. Have an awesome weekend!
