And my aging Grandpa always called me Valley Girl anyway, so it seemed to fit. He never even knew that that was a trend.
Ah, cuteness always brings out the Valley girl in me.
Anyway, going back home to my original valley hometown on Saturday was fun. The girls came with me and I pointed out all the old landmarks and things I used to do there as we drove through town to get to the hospital. I'll show you my old campus tour tomorrow.
TODAY is about babies!!!! It's raining baby boys!
FER CUTE!
We got to go into the NICU to visit my nephew Braedon!
My sister and her hubs were there, but we didn't get to see my niece Brooke. She was with Gma & Gpa. This poor baby IS a bionic baby and according to my sister, gives new meaning to the term, 6 million dollar man. Financially as well as "this better make him bionic!"... Check out all those cables hooked up to this poor little man! Prayers are still appreciated and needed! He'll probably be in the hospital until his due date which is towards Thanksgiving. Then we drove about 7 blocks away from the hospital and visited my niece who just had a baby on Wednesday! (I had originally thought Thursday, but what do I know?! I also had thought she was at the same hospital as Braedon!) She had him at home in a birthing pool! All three of my births were high risk and C-sections, so 100 years ago, I would have been someone who died during childbirth. But Naomi and her husband decided to do this with a midwife and since they were so close to the hospital anyway, it was perfect for them.
They are so blessed and this sweet little baby is so beautiful! Oh by the way, they're not Twilight fans at all! The middle name of Edward is the father & grandfathers middle names. So of course it fits him! Meri has offered her babysitting services because little Caleb fell asleep in her arms and she was very reluctant to give him up when we needed to leave. A 3 hour commute for that though, is probably not feasible right now... I can't wait until "beam me up Scotty" becomes reality!Afterward we went to another sisters house (I have six) and her 2nd youngest whisper asked her mommy if she could sit on my lap! What a sweetie! She showed me her broken Woody doll and told me 3 year old secrets that only a favorite aunt can hear.
So anyway. We were saturated with baby cuteness this weekend! I wish we could do this every weekend.

AWWWWWWW, I need to make the cute baby noise. One more time, AWWWWWWWWW! Ask if I can have one?
I had an emergency c-section myself and would have been one of those ladies, in the olden days, who would have died in childbirth! We have so much in common! Love the baby pics and prayers still going up!
AWWWW Tiny tiny babies= amazing full of love weekend!
Belly B :)
Aw, look at those little cuties. Sending prayers and all kinds of good vibes. (Really jealous that there was baby holding going on and I wasn't part of it...)
