What Else Can I Say?

It's been a crazy week so far... Meri's hedgehog died yesterday. I take that back... It must have been Monday night. I FOUND her on Tuesday morning. Meri buried her in my flower bed in the front landscaping. She and Ryan were pretty broken up. They'd enjoyed this one since it's birth 2.5 years ago.

I got the ASG (American Sewing Guild) newsletter done and it's off to the printers! Hopefully to be out to our members by very early December. There are elections and a style show at the next meeting, which is earlier than usual due to Christmas.

Got the latest batch of checks that I ordered from our bank, which had changed their name since the last time I ordered. I think some of the data may be wrong, but I'll call them and find out today.

The kids are out early from school today. They're going to be my slaves for the afternoon! bwahaha!!! One of them will be mopping, the other vacuuming, then CLEAN YOUR ROOMS!

I'm mean that way...

Now that the hedgie is out of my office, I'm going to reshuffle my fabric stash. I did a little the other day and found a whole bunch more knit fabric for those braided scarves. Maybe this weekend after the Christmas tree is up.

Got one turkey soaking in brine for the smoker tonight and the other is still thawing (SLOWLY) in the fridge for the oven in the morning. It may get a bath in brine overnight. I don't know. Robb's the turkey man. I still need to make a cheesecake and rolls... Will it get done? I'm almost to the point of 'eh'.

For the "my side" of the family reunion on Friday, we always have a talent show. I'm toying with the idea of doing my double stick Taekwondo form. But my sticks don't match... Will it matter? I'll still intimidate EVERYONE there... hmm.. I'll think about it. Don't know what the girls have planned, if anything. They better!!! The biggest part of the fun is to participate.

Well, I better go. Big day ahead in every aspect.

I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving! Talk at you on Monday!

Poor Meri. Sorry about her hedgehog. I wouldn't hold one to save my life but I know how much these things mean to kids.
Take care and Happy Thanksgiving!
