I am a total slacker...

I am a total slacker. I did absolutely NOTHING last night! I didn't even feed myself!! I lay around the house and made motions with my eyes for people to care for me. I even sent telepathic messages to the dogs to open the door themselves and let them outside to the yard. It was the most cathartic thing I've ever done.

Ok... For those of you (and you know who you are...) who tell me I don't know how to breathe... I'm a liar. Last night was no different than the rest of my life. In total chaos and scramble!

On Sunday night I picked up laundry upstairs and dropped it over the banister into the front hall where I sort it on the floor, then haul off the various piles to the laundry room. So until the next morning, everyone, including the dogs, tripped over them to get anywhere. Oh well... There! That was my lazy time.

On Monday I think I did 7 loads of laundry. That night after work, I took a few of the kids Christmas shopping and out for a quick bite at Wendys. Meri and I finished our shopping and sat on the benches in the front of Target waiting for Ryan and Tiffany. Ryan called me on my cell and said that they'd found a sheet for the baby and would I please pay for it because they didn't have enough cash. Okie. Baby needs a new set of sheets! When I got to their checkout, I found them holding a noise machine plush sheep...
I'm beginning to think that either the kids need to enunciate better or I really do need a hearing aid. Oh well. My grandson will have the cutest sheep that makes sounds like a dolphin or a heartbeat. I guess I'm a sucker. Looking forward to the day I can snuggle with him and of course the sheep...

When we got home, Meri pulled out her homework and I read her off some chart positions as she plotted a fish and a frog on graft paper. I remember doing those in school! LOVED them!

Anyway, sorry to disappoint. I plan to totally slack off on Monday!!! I have the day off from work and I'm going to sleep in and make the kids fend for themselves for meals. Maybe I'll throw them raw hot dogs from the couch...

Or check out the new Burda magazine and get into a sewing project.

I bet that you will never, ever take a break. I would put my money on that one. And I hear ya about the laundry. When Anna comes home, she brings a car full. She spends her quarters on food and not laundry. Oh well I can't say as I blame her.

I for one will be hoping you DON'T end up slacking the way I did...by "enjoying" a bout with the stomach flu that knocked me for a loop. (Talk about bad timing!!)

Grandson. Wow.

Feed yourself, Woman! Then you need to check out the video I posted today. Slow down and breathe.

This week is so stinkin' busy. And I'm sick. I feel like a walking lump of dog poop.

I cannot gogogo all the time. I burned out a few years back. Now I take breaks when I need to. As for Christmas or other party times of the year... I pass out jobs and then we all rest when we are finished.

I simply must learn how to send telepathic messages!
Merry Christmas McVal!
