A picture is worth a thousand words...

Ok here goes.

This mangled, colorful mess is a the result of Tiffany’s birthday cake. Made by Meri and Tiffany and decorated by the same.

They separated the cake batter out into several different bowls and poured in too many drops of food coloring to count in each, making the colors very vibrant! They did the same thing with the frosting and it ended up looking tie-died with confetti.

Meri baked it in a round springform pan and glued the base of it, when cooled, onto a platter with a glob of frosting so it wouldn’t slide around. Then they went to town frosting it.

So anyway, it turned out wonderful and was delish!

I just did a word count and I’m only 111 words into it…. I need to get to work because it’s going to be a busy day, so we’re going by the character count instead which is much higher, but not quite 1000 either…

Oh well!

Happy Birthday, Tiffany! Creativity just runs in your family, doesn't it? ☺ And Your daughter-in-law is a 'keeper'. ☺

Happy birthday to Tiffany! Not sure if I could have eaten that cake, maybe if I wore some sun glasses to deaden the bright colors ;o)

I love the results when kids get creative with cake.

That cake is terrifying, and yet I would still totally eat a piece.
