Got lots of smiles out of Leon this morning! Tiff asked me to take him for a little bit before I went to work so we snuggled. His crabs-a-lot attitude is changing and he's not so crabby anymore. Unless of course he's hungry or has a load in his pants...
Robb picked up five dozen eggs for us to color on Saturday! Perfect... Maddy has a friend coming over and we'll have 3 more teens in the house besides mine. I know it sounds like a lot of eggs, but if you break it down per kid, they don't get to color a lot... I'm looking forward to egg salad in everything for the next week.
I need to make an egg casserole for a church breakfast on Sunday. Anyone have any good recipes they can point me to?
Have you ever had one of those weeks where you wonder if this is what you're supposed to be doing? It's been a weird week at work. I'm so glad it's a Friday!
Tenabrae service at church tonight! Maddy is playing the organ and we'll be singing in the choir as the lights grow dimmer and dimmer and then we all walk out in total silence to get our chili dogs.
Have a great Good Friday!

Well Mr Leon is just getting so big - what a sweetheart. "I love that you'll have all those kids to color eggs. Our are drying now - we did bright colors this year.
Happy Easter!

Sounds as though you're coming along on the prom dress! Can't wait for the final photos. ☺

I'm still painting my kitchen cabinets; therefore, I have yet to get to the post office this week. Pinky promise to throw a package your way first of next week.
Interesting that your church serves chili dogs on Good Friday. Kinda funny when a lot of religions fast from meat on that day. ☺
Sigh, I don't color eggs any more at my house.......The sons took all the fun out of it......See they like to add 'inappropriate items' to the eggs before they dye them which to me, takes away from the spirit of the season....
what a doll face! i hope that there is not a lot of loads in there for your sakes:)
i was about to ask you for some recipes and then got to your, "you know any good recipes:)" i need to color some eggs with the girls...we don't have that many people in our house so, they'll do a lot!:) happy easter, have fun at church! xo

And. Someone HIRED me to make curtains. LOL!!!
Leon's cheeks look so huge! What a cutie! We are doing the eggs tomorrow. I always enjoy that part as much as the kids.
I love this recipe for crustless quiche:

You can use any type of cheese. I love using mexican or cheddar/jack. I also always throw in whatever ingredients my family likes to eat in an omelet: sauteed peppers and onions, leftover chopped ham, spinach or broccoli, the skies the limit. If I do add other ingredients, I sometimes omit the bacon. Really this is a great recipe.
My baby is in grad school so no died eggs at our house. Enjoy them both, children and eggs, while you can. Have a blessed Easter!
You need to figure in time to breath and maybe a nap! Our weekend has been crazy too. We had Anna and her boyfriend come in and then family too. It was busy but nice to see everyone!
Happy Easter!! We forgot to get eggs but Nate is still little enough not to care.
