Rain was pouring when I arrived at the ISU style show on Saturday night. I'm so glad I grabbed an umbrella before leaving the house. Waited at one door for one of my friends to show up that wanted to buy one of my extra tickets off on me.
Attempted to give away my two student tickets, but felt kind of stupid after the first attempt and gave up... "Excuse me... are you 18 or under? I have two free tickets?... Do you want them?"
Does that sound creeper about half way through or what?
At that point, I gave up almost as soon as I heard my voice. About 99% of the people there already had purchased tickets so I'd have to look like a scalper next to the purchase booth if I wanted to really get rid of them...
Anyway - back to the style show! Here are a few of the high lights. Sorry that some are blurry! It's hard to get a good focus from where I was sitting and with the lighting...
I thought the above coat with hedgehog spiky sleeves would be VERY uncomfortable for his date...
The above insects were awesome!!! Found out that the designer lady that helped me put together fabric for Maddy's sweetheart dress last year was given an honorary teaching position temporarily and was the kids adviser for the insect project!
That little girl was WORKING the runway! That hand on her hip was so adorable!I just loved the flow of this dress!!!
Got tons of ideas for future sewing projects! Prom dresses, coats, tops, pants... costumes..
Someday when I have time to start a new project, I'll browse all these photos and get inspired again... If I remember to...

Those are so cool! I wish I could sew.
Very fashionable and creative ideas. Can't wait to see your next project after this!
This almost makes me want to get off my lazy rear and sew. Almost.
