So it feels like a random, throw out my thoughts, kind of day!
I almost forgot that I'd left the garage door to the back yard open last night and had to go check just before going to bed. Yep. I left it open and the mommy dog was preferring to sleep in her doghouse in the rain than with her puppies... I made her come in. Silly mommy!

Got to change, feed and play with Leon this morning for an hour before getting up and getting my morning chores done. He was in a cheerful mood and grabs my fingers and hair first chances he gets!
I need a hair cut.

It's a rainy day today. darn. I was hoping to get the yard mowed today, but I guess it will have to grow in this rain a few more inches before we get a chance. Maybe tomorrow night...
TONIGHT I will sew!!! Got some projects in the works and some things to finish before this weekend. Some hand sewing that will wait for a road trip this weekend. Got to have something to show at my sewing meeting on Monday night too.
The puppies are on 3 feedings a day now on soggy puppy food! They're doing well but are going through my dog blankets like crazy with messes... I really wanted to put off cleaning up their kennel last night, but my eyes burned just walking through the garage.... So I had to.
I use a mop handle to shove the blankets into the washing machine. YEACCKK!

Maddy has spontaneously been doing the dishes lately... What's up with that?!
We need to get the front tire of Meri's new bike fixed. It got bent. I won't tell you how. It was just stupid...

Maddy is getting her Senior pics appointment lined up! She's chosen one of my God-children, who just started a photography business in Central Iowa and she found the prices extremely reasonable. This same girl had done some of the photos from Ryan and Tiffany's wedding last summer while her mom did the rest. They are BOTH so talented and have a good eye for creativity! I can't wait to see what creative pictures she'll get!
While Meri played with the puppies on the yard last night, I pulled some mini trees out of our landscaping. I can't believe how fast they grew!
Not a lot of people showed up for Bible study last night. I'm thinking most everyone is on vacation this week or thought it was cancelled. So the lucky ones that did show, went out for some fro-yo (that's frozen yogurt) instead. YUMM! Every once in a while when we don't reach a mythological quorum for class, we all do that. And just as well... I had forgotten my reading glasses at home and even the large print Bibles at church look like squiggle lines to me. My arms aren't long enough to read without the glasses.

Well.. that's enough rambling. I better get back to the old grind and get some work done so I can enjoy the weekend.

I love it when someone besides me decide to do the dishes. As for the rain, we are due for it to be here tonight and in the morning. Thank goodness one of the sons decided to mow the grass here today. Of course it took some bitching uhm persuasion from me to get him to do it ;o)
