I'm feeling random head to toe.
I've got 3/4s of a 2 liter bottle of DDP on my desk with a tall glass of ice and a good headache brewing... But hopefully the Excedrin will kick it until I can see my chiropractor! Maybe over lunch to day... I hope...
The first round of 4H projects are due exactly one week from tomorrow. Do the kids have anything done? no. Did they have tons of ideas and aspirations when we filled out the paperwork? yes. I have a feeling there will lots of scratch marks on their entry forms by next week.
Hopefully Meri will have SOMETHING to model for the style show. She's going to work hard on a hoodie with ears tomorrow. Don't ask yet... Hopefully I'll have a pic of it on Monday.
My hair has now reached to just below my rib cage... I haven't had my hair cut since last summer... Except for my bangs which I attack with a scissors and/or my hubs beard trimmer when I start going nuts from them hanging into my eyes. I need to corner Tiffany to give me a cut sometime this weekend..
One of my nephews is engaged! I'm going to attend the bridal shower for his beautiful fiance on Sunday and get to see my parents, a bunch of my sisters, nieces & cousins. It'll be so much fun! I'm thinking that tomorrow I need to make a set of pillowcases to give them... hmmm....
Meri is a sweetheart and put away the puppy kennel in the garage last night to surprise me! It will be so nice to get the mowers actually INTO the garage now!!
Maybe August is the month to get things done around the house. It sure ain't June or July!!!
I took Tiffany and Leon to some doctor appointments yesterday. Leon is 100% back to normal now!!! Woohoo! He had to have some blood drawn again, so he's scared silly of nurses at the moment because he feels betrayed by each and every one of them... They flirt with him and make him smile, then poke a hole in his foot.
He also got his 4 month shots and on all the charts he's in the 97 percentile! He's a whopping 20 lbs now and 27.5 inches long. Yeowsa! No wonder our shoulders hurt! We've been advised not to start him on baby cereal until he's 6 months old even tho his two little new teeth scream STEAK! I can't wait! He's going to love food!
I really like weeks when there are holidays. The days are so much more calm at work. *knock on wood* But now that I've said that, I'm sure it's going to heat right up and 5pm will be here before you know it!
I'm going on a date tonight!!! It's been so long since we've been out of the house for anything other than kid events or church. Even just grocery shopping alone together would be a treat! But we're going to go to a movie together and I can't wait!
Have a wonderfully random weekend!

Uhm, 6 months before even getting cereal? I can remember feeding it to my sons way before that because the formula just didn't hold them for any amount of time.
BUT glad to read that Leon is great and back to normal! Yea for prayers that are answered!
What movie??
When my kids were babies they were like, "Don't give them cereal until 8 months!!"
ACK!
Hope you had a wonderful date!
I think the 6 months may be the recommendation, but some babies want food before that. My great niece started grabbing food off of people's plates and cramming it in her mouth at a couple of months. Her fave was my moms potato salad. LOL! The dr told my niece that if she wanted it, let her eat it.
I'm so glad that you got to go on a date night! You deserve it!
