Underfoot

I'm not a cat person.  Just stating that right up front and out in the open!

And yet we have two.  It's still unclear how we ended up with any at all...

Kid's keep falling into opportunities to save a kitten from being sent to a shelter.  Or "I MUST have a kitten or I will have no will to live!"

REALLY???!...

So we have two cats.
This little boy loves them to DEATH!  A new nickname for them could soon be Alopecia Kitty.

Anyone remember Almyra from Tiny Toons?  Yep.. that's my grandson.

The first one is a rescue "kind of" from some neighbors of friends who had way too many farm cats and one of them had the most adorable kittens that needed homes immediately.  Her name is Opa.  Named after some flying creature from the tv shows Avatar, The Last Airbender.  not to be confused with the movie of the same name.  My kids are purists and found many faults with the movie...

I've never seen either...

The second was a MUST HAVE, but I haven't really seen why yet.  It has had several names.  Starting out with Darth Kitty, Siler, Ange and ending with DC.  Which is really the most appropriate name for this thing because it can stand for just about anything!

Devil Cat

Dandy Cat

Dunderhead Cat

but mostly just That Darn Cat!

I can barely keep up with the litter box...  And I've been finding out new swear words each day regarding cats.  Some are totally new inventions.

So... With 5 dogs in the house, the living room off limits from them and now two cats, which have access to EVERYTHING...  We are constantly stepping on a tail, a wet spot or an actual cat in the laundry...

Talk about pets underfoot!  Yikes.

We are not dog people. Oh, dogs are fine, as long as they belong to someone else, but we don't want one of our own.

We have 3 cats inside, 1 outside, and sometimes some strays. I agree about the tails, the wet spots and finding them in the laundry (dirty or clean, doesn't matter). They are a pain, especially Siesta, who looks like your DC, but we love them and wouldn't have it any other way. :)

I've never liked cats, but adopted one kitty that landed on our door step years ago. It was a sad day when she was killed by dogs. We now have two more and I loathe the day we got them. Sure, they kill moles and snakes and lizards, but they kill bunnies and birds, too. I am not a fan. At all.

I don't do cats either.
I don't have love for anything that toilets in the house and doesn't actually use a toilet......diapered babies are the exception.lol

I don't want pets that can jump on my kitchen counters either. ick

You need to practice saying NO more....lol
I STILL said no and ended up with 4 dogs at once!
I guess you and I don't rate in our families. ;-)

My third so is SO allergic to cats. I never knew this until this week-end. He woke up Sunday and his face was all red and swollen. When asked what happen he explained he fell asleep at his girlfriend's house, on her couch, that happens to have two cats. Needless to say, there is a reason we aren't cat people either.

I'm not a cat person either. That said I am fond of our cat. He is the only pet left. Now there is an idea, send a pet our way-it won't make it long. Bahahaha. Ok sorry that was mean and not true.
