and things will change...
In Iowa, if you don't like the weather, wait ten minutes.
If the living room is clean, wait ten minutes.
If the dishes are caught up and sinks are bleached out, wait ten minutes.
When the Christmas tree is up and the lights are lit, wait ten minutes and some fuse that you can't find will blow. Your tree will be partially lit for the rest of the season. Right now the top half is dark...
If you've just stocked up on groceries and filled the fridge, wait ten minutes and someone will say there's nothing to eat...
If you finally get time to sew and get your project pulled out, wait ten minutes and you will have to put it aside.
This is the story of my life!
If you know me, then you'll know, of course, that I'm talking about Leon.
Wait ten minutes.
Or just count to ten.

I was going to say!! If you don't like the weather in OR, wait 5 minutes!
Ahhh...that sweet baby. Our tree has had the unexplained lights going out too - I just crammed a bunch more on. I think after Christmas this year we'll get a few new sets. They're fairly inexpensive and it's been awhile.

Your tree is still beautiful!
I couldn't tell that there were any lights out on your tree....
I have the same problem with Millie is here. Even though Scott takes care of her, she seems to want me ALL the time.
I like it that way ;o)
I don't know how you manage to get it all done!
I hope all is well in your home and my Christmas wish for you is to get tons of time to SEW!
Hoping you get some time to sew. I know how you love doing that.
