The case was about bed bugs and I itched throughout the trial that morning... Meri did the closing arguments and if I were the judge, I would have SO sided with her! But the judges watered things down so as not to hurt anyone's feelings and couldn't decide on which side to judge for. I hope they're tougher in an actual court...
But these ARE 7th and 8th graders, so maybe they've seen enough tears in Mock Trial...
This week, Meri is playing a zombie. She's handing out invites today to about 6-9 of her closest friends for a LARPing party that she is hosting. Yep. The zombie apocolypse is happening THIS weekend at MY house! Well... not at my HOUSE, but a park close by, then they'll come to my house for cocoa, a movie and sleepover.

This was the closest I've had her look like a zombie so far. She and her friends at her birthday party last January. I think the theme was Blind Zombie Makeover party...
This weekend should be interesting....

The LARP party sounds like a blast....as long as they stick to soda and chips and not progress to brains....
I am totally interested to hear how this LARP thing goes!
I was going to say don't tell Sluggy about the zombie apocalypse so that she doesn't start preparing!
