Random Christmassy Thoughts

The first four of many Christmas parties start this weekend!!!  Actually that might be like 95% of them...  I need to check my calendar... 

I was going to wear the dress I made for the October wedding, then decided against it.  Remember? I looked like a fat middle aged woman... 

SO.  I had gotten a deal on a couple dresses that were too big for me.  :)  *that's a good thing!* *because then you can modify them!* 

A couple new seams on the sides, a couple new ones on the shoulders and voila!  A new little black dress!  No picture yet.  Because I looked silly trying it on with my toe socks.

Leon has discovered the floor with his face a.lot this week.  Just in time for the Christmas letter picture too!!!  He takes after his daddy so much...  "Oh, you want to take a GOOD picture of me?  Just a minute, I need to give myself a couple black eyes and swollen nose."  or "a gash in my forehead" if your name is Ryan.  Let's just say Leon look tough!


I need a few more Christmas lights out front and a leak patched up on our blow up nativity and then we'll be done decorating.  Looks like just in time because the weather is getting a bit colder and they say snow by Sunday!  Now if I could just find where I've packed away my winter coat...

I had given up sewing gifts for my nieces and nephews this year and ended up purchasing their gifts, which I can't mention here.  I hope they like them!  I know my girls were jealous when they saw what we were giving away!

Anyway.  Back to work.  Lots to do, lots to do.  That's my mantra this morning.  It doesn't make me work any harder, but gives me something to say other than a swear word.
