However when they discovered they could stand up, we had to revise how we were tying the thing. That is of course the case with Leon.
This seems to work!
Back to Christmassy news... Maddy's school concert was last night and Leon was a hit again, as usual. He sang along, tapped the seat ahead of us in rhythm, screamed when they sang a song he didn't know, broke Robb's glasses, crawled up the aisle between vocal and band. And smiled flirtatiously with a dear friend and her daughter sitting on the other side of the aisle.
Maddy had a solo! Beautiful job! However she did warn us that this was a reminder of next year when she's off to college. She'll only be home for Christmas in our dreams... What a depressing song now!
As for sewing... I'm letting my sewing followers down. I'm sorry! This wife/mother/grandma thing takes a LOT of time and energy! There is so much stuff heaped on top of my sewing table, that I don't know when I'll see it next... I have two Christmas projects that I REALLY want/need to sew on this weekend. I'll show you one of them next week.
And as for cooking... I'm eating some fudge leftover from my sewing meeting on Saturday this morning! It's not too early in the day... right?

It's never too early for fudge. :)
It's never too early for anything chocolate. Leon needs to join the choir. ;) She'll be home...
FYI most college dorms close during the Christmas holidays for a month! Seriously, I always laughed with my sons would tell me they won't be home after they left for college, then they found out they couldn't stay. Oh some of the colleges would let the foreign students stay with no meals to be had but if you were from USA, you had to leave. So unless she is living in her own apartment.....
Never too early for chocolate:)
My son has that same blue skull hoodie, it's his favorite!
Sounds like Leon was the life of the party! lol
