Well.. we rang in the New Year with Bagpipes again. One child stayed over at a friends house... again... I'm beginning to think she doesn't like bagpipes. Two of my childrens and a grandbaby slept through it. The only one to ring in the New Year with Robb and myself was our daughter-in-law and we made her hold the laptop for him in the cold. And it WAS cold. No one came out. But that could also be because 95% of our town's inhabitants were in Memphis attending the Bowl game. Eh - who knows?
And you know... I really thought I'd be able to sew on the Sweetheart ball dress yesterday, being off of work and all.. Nah. My New Years day just transferred from being a Work Work day to just a Work day.
I organized things, cleaned things, mopped things up.
I did laundry, poopy diapers, baked a cake.
I hunted for a birthday gift that got misplaced, hunted for an unopened letter that had been sitting on the counter for 2 weeks but suddenly needed to be found and couldn't be, I marinated steaks.
I know.. It kind of sounds like... "I leap tall buildings in a single bound and I rescue cats from trees".
It's this cold... We're all still kind of sick. and tired. Leon is starting to cough again. HE gave it to us the first time!
Anyway, I'm back to work today and am getting a chance to sit down.
Just remembered that I forgot to eat breakfast.
And 2013 so far for my clients is a real BEAR! Everyone has issues this morning!
Can we just go back to 2012?...

Isn't it funny how a day of no work is still a day of work that is physically harder? I had the same problem here since the Christmas tree won't take itself down...
I was asleep by 7:45. HA!
You could have just brought the bagpipes my way!
Den loves the bagpipes. The man that played in our neighborhood moved. I think it is because no one appreciated him.
