Cuss word for the day, *cats* YOU know what I'm talking about! They think retaliation is cute...
I made a quiche last night for everyone elses supper. I had to leave for a meeting. Let's just say, using dehydrated onion flakes and then corn bread for the bread crumbs were a fail. I had it for breakfast and attempted to give some to Leon for breakfast. NOT a favorite...
Going with my random theme... Something Meri needed printed out for a homework assignment...
Looking for a way to make a giant 3D cupcake cake for a 1 year old's birthday party. I've been thinking and thinking on it... May make a mock up by the weekend to try it out... hmmm... Anyone have any ideas? Not sure where I can find the cake molds...
Looking forward to sewing two seams tonight! Seriously... My life is THAT exciting!
I cannot put my hands on that purse Meri gave me! You see it everywhere, then when you need it, it can't be found...
I can hear Leon rattling his cage in the bedroom above me. Something tells me he's not ready for a nap yet.
Well, on to my day! You have a great one! I've got meetings back to back and then a dentist appointment this afternoon to glue back in a crown. YAY ME!

Giant cupcake cake without a special pan, try making several round cakes, stacking them, then carving the top into a cupcake shape. Then frost in a most excellent way. :-)

We're having quiche tonight. I've used dehydrated onions in it before and it worked ok. Never heard of putting bread crumbs of any kind in it, though.
Frances has a good idea for the cupcake. If you really want the pan, I've seen them at Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Joann, some Ace Hardware stores, some Target stores, etc. I haven't bought one because I figured I'd only use it once. Speaking of...maybe you have a friend who only used theirs once and will let you borrow it.
My cousin made one by using a large glass measuring cup that she got years ago from some party show.
It wasnt a perfect cupcake but it was really cute
I would do what Frances said but for the top, use an oven proof mixing bowl a tad larger then the cake pans to bake in. Works wonderfully IF you have such a bowl.
I have zero advice for the cupcake cake thing, except to go to Amazon and buy one. lol That is what I would do.
Pampered Chef has the measuring cups that are oven proof and they are huge - I've seen people put barbie dolls in them after they are baked and the cake is the bottom of the dolls dress. So it would be perfect for a giant cupcake!
