Watched the Johnny Depp "Dark Shadows" movie this week in little chunks at a time with my hubs. It was entertaining but I don't recommend it for everyone...

Anyway, with the light coming through my window this morning, that's what you get in the cell phone pictures. Dark shadows...
Below is a prom dress, fightin' to get out of a JoAnn's bag. I called ahead to make sure JoAnn's was open last night before I wasted another trip down. I still need 6 yards of lining that they didn't have, but will pick up this weekend when I go pub hopping with the bagpipe band.
And by popular demand, from some folks who wondered what I was talking about when I mentioned I'd received an R2D2 spatula... It is just a spatula... I was doing the sound effects! You HAVE to when you use it!

Depending on my mood at lunch, I may start cutting the dress out. I'd like to have maybe the bodice done before my sewing meeting on Saturday.

We actually went to the movies to see Dark Shadows:) It was entertaining, but not enough to have spent movie money on.
