Well, the girl has tried on the sample prom dress. After several comments, such as "Oh, I look frumpy!" or "These seams won't show up like this, will it?" or "I think this part has to go under the breasts..." She settled with, "It'll be great, just let's get it done."
Some of her comments made me want to poke her with a pin, but I understand she was just tired and feeling overwhelmed with all that she had to get ready last night. Today has a lot going on for both of the girls. They're leaving for Aunt Quacks this afternoon with the twins.
I was feeling tired too. Every time I stood up last night, I felt light headed. Today is not much better...
I'm not pregnant!
I actually gave blood last night... I am surprised my iron count wasn't too low to give, but I did take an iron tablet the day before and that almost shot me in the range where they could ask me if I wanted to do the double blood. (plasma thing)
I'm glad it wasn't! Or I'd be hallucinating today... *what are purple giraffes doing in here??!*
But the weekend is HERE at last!!! And it'll be gone before you know it.... Looking forward to some quiet me sewing time. Well, as quiet as you can get with 70s & 80s rock blaring in the back ground...

My favorite way to sew is with classic rock blaring!
The dress looks interesting especially since I can see totally through it. Next time she says anything about how it fits, remind her that different fabric hang differently, including on the seam.
Do eat something and chill out a bit!!
