Random thoughts and advice

Finished cutting out the bodice pieces last night.  There were 48 pieces cut with 7 different pattern pieces.  Was ALMOST going to start sewing them together but got the opportunity to snuggle with Leon near bedtime instead.

Hmmm... decisions, decisions....  His Elmo pjs won out and the iron & sewing machine were turned OFF!  And Leon and I watched a little Beauty and the Beast.

Maddy's last NHS (National Honor Society) induction was last night.  She was not a new inductee, as that was a few years ago.  She's the secretary of the group and got to hand out things to the new inductees.  There are tons of Seniors currently in the group, but tons of Sophomores and Juniors ready to take their place next year.  It is amazing how many projects this group took on.  Maddy did a little speech talking about their events.

Looking forward to some St. Patrick's Day pub hopping this weekend!  It's being split up into two days with only one bag-piping gig on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.  Robb gets to wear a skirt kilt two days in a row!!!

Also looking forward to our annual St Paddy's day meal with our friends on Monday night.  Robb has a few new recipes he wants to try and there is some filo dough burning a hole in our freezer at this very moment waiting for some new dish.

This was himself last year.   I wonder if they have onesies that say "Me Second St. Patrick's Day"...

Just a heads up.  I may be scarce next week.  Hopefully I'll get a LOT of the prom dress done and ready to show.  Have a great St. Patrick's Day!  Don't eat too much corned beef.  It'll go straight to your thighs.

Happy late St. Patty's day to you!
We had some yummy corned beef. Den's Irish was showing. I saved a bit of it to make corned beef hash. YUM!

I love your Leon moments! Makes me long even more to be a grandma ♥ I'm sure you are happily sewing away this week. Can't wait to see it! I wish I had your motivation to sew (or do anything crafty these days for that matter!!). hope your St. Pat's Day was fabulous. Do you have a video/audio of your bagpiper on the blog? Now that would be some ear-candy! ;)
