Random Tuesday Post

My mind is a random jumble of thoughts today.  It's a good thing I took 2 Ibuprofen before getting out of bed this morning...

I have a voice today!  It's not much of one, but my co-worker today hasn't told me yet to just go take a nap, as she did yesterday when my voice frustrated her.

I've been gathering blankets off Freecycle.org for "the dog" project.  Ellie is due to have puppies within 2 weeks.  The doubt that she's pregnant is gone.  She's slower, bigger and got the moodiness of a 16 year old.  Last Saturday, Robb and I worked in the garage and almost have her nest ready.  I just hope it warms up more before they're born.  I don't mind have the heater on in the garage, but the floor can be cold, even with blankets.

Not that I know from personal experience...  I can just imagine...

I did sew a little over spring break!  I screwed things up, but I did sew!  Below is my screw up shot.

It looks better now, but I have to say that pulling a seam out of this sparkly fabric is next to impossible... BUT I managed somehow with determination.  This WILL be done correctly!!!  If the poor girl has to walk around prom with one arm permanently glued to her side to cover up an imperfection, that would be a sad sad thing!  The bodice is done and waiting for me to finish cutting the skirt out.  The satin is cut and half of the underlining.  Just need to finish that and cut the lining, then we'll be in business!  Hopefully get that part done tonight.

Meri is planning her first boy/girl party this weekend!  No spin the bottle here tho!!!  It's a Walking Dead marathon...  I will furnish lunch and goodies...  Any suggestions for snacky foods??

Well... back to work.  Have a great day!

You are so determined! I seriously do not see unpicking from sheer glittery fabric. I would have just cut a new one. It's going to be really cute!

I cannot wait to see that dress. And a Walking Dead marathon sounds pretty fun!

I've looked, and looked, and looked at the photo. Read and reread what you wrote and I still can't figure out what it is....
Oh well, do you know I've never watched a full episode of the Walking Dead? Drives the sons nuts when I sit to watch it with them and I ask twenty bizillon questions because I don't get it. Then I leave because they refuse to answer all my questions.....

Loved seeing the Easter festivities and that darn cutie Leon! Walking Dead party sound like something right up my alley!

Have fun planning it with them.
