When Mom Wasn't Home

When I was a little girl and Mom wasn't home....

Sounds ominous, doesn't it?

My sisters and I would have some good, clean fun by mixing half the bottle of dish soap with a little bit of water.  Then make giant igloo bubbles on the formica countertop.

We used everything in the utensil drawer to blow the mixture through for bubble shapes, but they always turned out circles when we pulled them off the bubble.

It was great fun!!

We had a towel around the outer edges of the sloppy mess so the mixture wouldn't run onto the floor.

When the bubble on the counter top hit another bubble, it conjoined and we made huge bubble cities.

We would blow the bubbles at each other to see them join in the air before they splashed onto the counter and joined with the others.

It is amazing how a simple bubble can make one so happy!

Always squeaky clean fun at your house! I was more of a run from the cops sort of girl. Yes, I really did. I had a three wheeler. They had to call for backup once. Bahahaha.

Hum, I must be tired, I read your post not getting why you're talking about bubbles then I relooked at the pictures and FINALLY I saw the bubbles.....
We got Millie a jar of bubbles for Easter. She loved them too. But instead of catching them, she just clapped her hands when she saw them :)
