Seis de Mayo
We didn't get a chance to celebrate Cinco De Mayo last night. Shucks! And probably a good thing, as I got schooled by the pizza guy last year for ordering a Taco pizza on May 5th in honor of it. He gave me a "what for" about why we shouldn't be celebrating that day at all... EXCUSE ME! I just wanted a Mexican type supper!!
We're doing homemade tacos instead this year... And tonight.
Anyway, as usual the weekend was incredibly busy. You're rolling your eyes and skimming now. I can tell. I'll keep the summary short!
Snow on Friday!!! YIKES! I hope it clears up by next Saturday!!

Friday night, homemade pizza.
Saturday, I worked on the house and babysat. Robb and some of the gang drove to Kansas City, as a niece was being confirmed on Sunday. I didn't get as much done on the house as you'd think with such a great helper!!
He's lamenting the fact that I won't let him eat raw potatoes AND that the stupid lint roller got all balled up and won't roll anymore. We have to lock up the potatoes now... and the lint roller...
He enjoyed bird watching and reading when he WAS happy.

And YAY when Maddy got home from her large group contest and helped me out.
We relaxed later and watched the last 30 minutes of the movie Emma while we sorted her childhood box pulling out things for display this next weekend at her graduation party. We will be documenting her life all around the house from baby-hood on up to current.
Oh and we'll have a bouncy house!
Seriously...
Regarding the movie Emma... I don't think the makeup artist had any work to do in that stretch of the movie. Tears and washed out eyes everywhere. I'm sure the director was telling everyone to think of drowned puppies or some such thing. I'm sorry Maddy!!! I WILL watch it from the beginning someday!!! And I'm sure I'll love it just like Pride & Prejudice!

Ah.. Mr. D'arcy and Mr. K'nightly! Which one do you think is cuter? I guess it depends on which version you watch...
Happy 6th of May!! May the Seis be with you!

Snow again? You'll need to move south soon. ;) You need to enter Leon in the Reasons my son is crying tumblr. You've seen it, right? The guy is taking entries for pictures of kids crying and why they are crying. Your reasons for that photo are hilarious!
The bouncy house makes me want to drive to your house for the party. LOL.
