The Hunt Is Over...

Because I give up!

8 years ago, we went on our last Ireland trip.  Meri was 5.  It was an awesome trip and when we got back I, of course, started getting nostalgic about it.  So I browsed all the Ireland travel videos I could find on Youtube.

I happened to stumble upon a video about someone driving on the twisty roads of Kerry with rain splattering down on occasion.  The song in the background was Snow Patrol's song of Chasing Cars.  The video just spoke to me and I loved it!  However I didn't save it in my Youtube favorites and it is gone...

I have hunted and searched both in Youtube and then in general Internet-land and cannot find hide nor hair of it.  Every search I do, brings up all of Snow Patrol's official videos or police chases or general homemade videos of people driving in Ireland.

It has disappeared, never to be seen again...

And I have given up.

In the meanwhile, I enjoy Leon and the puppies!!!  I put the ad in the paper last night and with any luck, these little poop, scratchy monsters will have new homes this weekend!!!

For some reason Blogger takes FOREVER to load a single picture!  I finally gave up on that too.  It allowed me to load this one...  He uses utensils now!

Looking forward to a little sewing time also.  Or at least to organize my sewing area, which I dare not show you because then I'll hear questions like, "THAT is a table??"

Enjoy your weekend!  Monday is Memorial Day and we will be remembering our fallen heroes at the local cemetery as well as watching Meri in the marching band.  Then enjoying grilled pork and peach kabobs with friends.

Happy Memorial Day!

It sounds like you'll be having a great holiday. Leon is getting so big. If you resize your photos they will load much easier. I know that because I ran out of storage space on blogger and had to research what to do. Picasa will store photos 800x800 for free. That's how I could load photos on my blog again. You could use picmonkey to do it. It's an aggravation, but it helps in the long run. Maybe someone else knows how to resize them a different way.

I have been having trouble loading pictures too. I normally just leave the window open and walk away for a while and when I remember it they have loaded. Guess we can't complain too much since it is free.
