Once upon a time when my son was 2, my sister-in-law asked my husband, "Why have kids? What's the point?"
Robb replied, "Hey Ryan, Go get me a Diet Coke!" and he did... from the fridge.
Kids are good for LOTS of things! And if you train them properly, can really be put to good use.
Below is one such example... It's also an example of why we bolt the door all the time now, unless the dog's outside.
Another thing Leon knows how to do is pray! Well, fold his hands anyway and he has said his version of Amen on some occasions. When we put him in the high chair, he usually does this first thing, but maybe that's when there is more on his plate than just raisins...
He's been helping me feed the dogs with a scoop and pulling stolen socks out of the dog's kennels.
It's been cool to watch him learn new things and words. I'm almost afraid of what he'll show us he knows how to do next...

Millie can't open doors yet. I think the difference is the door knob. But oh she knows how to shut the door ALL.THE.TIME!
