Sew Up To The Minute.

Remember me telling you about this shirt and what plans I had for it?  Well, I finally finished it last night.  Leon was off snuggling with someone else. 

 I "KNOW"!  I'm so jealous!  But I needed a little bit to myself.  You guys have said so...

And I really don't know what that means...  Sa-la-vie maybe??

Anyway, it became this!  It was a little shorter than we anticipated during the trying on phase, but with a tank top underneath, it'll work for a field trip with the day care kids.

My next project has already been started.  I couldn't miss the opportunity of free time, so I delved into some fabric from my stash that had been watching me...  The stripes are lined up all the way around and we'll be adding a pocket to the front matching up with the lower red lines.  I need to recut around the neckline as there will be some gapping if I don't.

I actually did the side seams just before coming out here to my office.  I think I have enough fabric to make a little skirt or shorts to go along with. hmm....

Hopefully I'll get some time to finish this and dig into some fair projects this weekend, but you know how that goes...  I'll probably mow or clean the garage...  There IS a garage sale that a friend from church is doing this weekend with tons of clothes in my price range and sizes.  We'll see what I feel like in the morning...
