This morning, Ryan was sitting on the couch watching Leon wreak havoc on my already trashed living room. Leon grabbed a book and plopped it into Daddy's lap and climbed up next to him. So they read. It was cute and the only camera I had with me was my phone. So here you go.
But back to my important question... Earlier this morning as I changed Leon's diaper and dressed him, I noticed that he had a snoot full of snot. The only thing handy usually is a baby wipe, so I used that. He HATES when I use a baby wipe on his nose.
Here is his rating on other items that have been used to clean his nose.
And keep in mind, some were out of sheer necessity and urgency as snot bubbles gross me out.
A kleenex is ok.
A napkin is not.
A piece of toilet paper is ok.
My sock is not.
Here's my question...
Is using a baby wipe to clean a kids nose similar to water boarding?
Leon seems to think so.

My granddaughter is the same when it comes to wiping the nose. Some wipes have alcohol in them which burns their noses. Other's even though they are alcohol free, still have something in them that hurts their noses (not sure what it is maybe the equivalent of sanitizer).
Learned my lesson, no wet wipes when wiping the noses!
My daughter used to have a meltdown no matter what I used to wipe her nose!
The only thing that I think constitutes as child abuse is the booger sucker.
An adorable pic of the two of them.. great moment ;) I am soooo out of the loop regarding little ones that I have no idea on the answer to the Q :) Sounds like important info though! hope you and yours are having a great weekend!! -Tammy
