Nutritional Pointers

Hi all! 

Was in a few meetings already this morning and while people gabbed and I didn't need to, I grabbed papers off my desk and worked out a current todo list for work.  Got quite a list of things that I need to get done.  Not necessarily today, but after today I've got a 4 day weekend BABY!!  I won't be posting...  Just saying that now in case you think I've gotten fed up with Blogger and quit when I don't post for a few days.

Whew.  And it'll be a tough one.  One of my kids is leaving on good terms.  Quite a change for me!  We're taking Maddy to her new abode and one car is already loaded.  I guess she's serious because she just packed up her Keurig and tv.  The important things!

The last couple nights, we've eaten out.  Monday night, I took Maddy and Leon last minute mongo shopping and we ate out.  Tuesday night, we took Maddy, Meri and Leon to one of our fave restaurants that has cheap burger nights on Tuesdays.  They were so jam packed and kept seating smaller groups ahead of us that we got disgusted and left.

 The girls, Leon and I ate elsewhere while Robb had to go pick up Ryan from work.  

Don't you just love how he wiped the nutrition right into his hair.  He painted his forehead with ketchup and then felt it with his fingers, perplexed as to how it got there.

After supper we traveled a bit and enjoyed some specialty ice cream at a farm where they make homemade ice cream every night.  It was SO good!  We got pumpkin flavored and then salted caramel flavored ice creams and Meri had a blackberry shake.  Leon just ate whatever we gave him and was happy rubbing more nutrition into his hair.

Maddy has a couple gift certificates that she needs to use up and they're for local businesses.  So she's treating Robb and I out for lunch today!  She'll NEVER finish her favorite foods list before she goes and probably not even her leftovers from last night... 

That's what a son and dogs are for...
