Sew Scattered

The girls that I altered their dresses for, picked them up last night.  WHEW!!  Less chance now this way of getting touched by an 18.5 month old with ketchup on his fingers!  They were in bags, but still.  He has a way of tearing up things like that.  I can sleep easier now.

Unless of course, they come back and say, HEY!  Now it's too TIGHT!  I'll hit that ball if I get there...

Got to ride Meri's moped this morning!  Had no other transportation and Meri forgot her iPad at home...  The weather finally started cooling down and I was regretting not grabbing a jacket on the way past the closet.  *brisk*  *finally*

The dogs in our garage have now left me gifts 3 days out of the last 5.  I am not happy.  As I sort things from the garage and pitch things, I want to toss in a couple more items...

Gotta trim back those lilac bushes in front of my office window.  Sure I'll be able to see better when the leaves all fall off...  but right now I feel blind.

Feeling a little claustrophobic with the bags and boxes of various things around my office as I continue my sorting mission.  One bag of clothes needs to be sent to a sister, 4 more to the Goodwill, a few to go back into the garage but the shelf isn't completely cleared yet for room for them.  Yikes!  What kind of a can of worms was THIS?!  You were right Sonya, Curses!!!

DID find a bunch of my son's books and cds that he was wondering about.  So that was good!  Also found some blankets, some bath toys and various other things that Leon can use now.   Who says you have to buy new when you need something?  Just look through my garage!

Maddy texted us the other night to tell us that her row at the chapel service was featured online.  We FOUND her!  It was a dark service...

But of course we catch a glimpse of her whenever we want to...  I like that colleges webcams and online services a lot.  It makes it seem like she isn't that far away at all!  It's helping me anyway with the separation anxiety...  I'm sure she's handling it just fine.

She's been working at a local museum there for some volunteer hours and texted me the other day with a fabulous find.  She was packing up wedding clothes from the 1800s that had been on display.  She was bragging about it so I would be green with envy.  Of course I was!  And she didn't get a picture...  Oh well.  I'll find vintage inspiration elsewhere.

Leon has had a cough off and on since July...  Robb is going to take him to the doctor this morning to find out what it is.  I'm thinking he might need some antibiotics to just kick whatever this is in the bud and be done with it!  Poor thing.  Ryan slept with him last night.  We need a longer crib.

I hope Leon doesn't have allergies. They are yucky. Your sorting sounds like mine. I can get is sorted....getting it all to Goodwill/various places, is always the biggest chore! Have a great weekend!

Sure that's not a cardboard cut out of her in that picture ;)
Hope all is well with Leon!
