Yeah, I'm making up words! So what!?
Maddy tried on the Emma dress last night and I realized that the Fix Flat that I'd squirted inside of Duct Tape Maddy must have bent her all out of shape. I was off by a whole 5+ inches around the bust. But having extra at the sides is better than not enough!!
oops!
Oh well, Nothing that can't be fixed with a hefty wide extra seam on both sides... I did that (which I need to redo one side of) and the hems and cuffs last night with Maddy and her roommate looking on. I found some burgandy ribbon that will be nice for around the high waist and cuffs, but I'm going to need to sew a few strips together to make it a little wider. It's kind of narrow stuff.
Was going to do that over lunch today, but Maddy won't be wearing it tonight as we had thought, so I've got til Sunday to finish it.
Also I remembered that I need to make some centerpieces for the ASG event tomorrow that I'm skipping because I have guests.
I have some fabric like THE ABOVE in my stash and am making little sachets to set around on the tables. I have a feeling they're not going to be as nice as some of the other ladies that are bringing some... Oh well. I've got lunch to make them and into the night if I need to.
We're taking the kids to the Living History Farms tonight for trick or treating.
