SEW Need A Weekend.

Leon and I went to pick apples at Meri's piano teachers house last night.  We'd blown her off by mistake the night before when we decided to play on slides instead.  So instead of us picking apples, her son had already picked them!  Four bags of apples...  They're in the garage fridge currently with only a few at room temperature at any given time.  My teeth can't stand the cold.  Neither can Leon's.

I bought caramel dip for this weekend.

So since we saved time by not picking apples, we went grocery shopping last night and loaded up on some food stuffs for the weekend.  It's amazing how fast the cupboards can go bare when there are other things to do besides shop.  Meat??  What's that?!

Looking forward to digging into some sewing projects soon.  The Pride & Prejudice dresses, to be more specific.  Been looking at my fabric stash a little more lately wondering what the girls might like.

Is this obscene?

I found it in the Burda mags and scanned it in to have Maddy measure up her friend that's not able to come.  The instructions for measuring are super!  I wonder if she has a tape measure...  hmmm.

Speaking of Maddy...  She had a solo in the women's choir yesterday!  And as you know, I watch as many of the online services as possible for a chance to see her.  So I was thrilled to hear that she had a solo and I could watch it!

Watching is the operative word here...  BECAUSE, the online service had NO SOUND yesterday.  They do that sometimes.  Possibly because of a button not being pushed at the right time, or who knows?...  But anyway, I could only watch her. sigh.

Here is the video.

Robb said that he could almost read her lips and thought she was singing "What does a fox say?"

I don't think so.

Have a great Thursday!  Friday 5pm will be here before you know it.

I know "I" can't wait!

And as you know I like obscene. Though that was pretty tame by my standards.

I vote not obscene, unless you are a 10 year old boy. ;-)
