Looking forward to so much this weekend! I have no idea when I'll get a little time to sew. Hopefully Sunday afternoon, but then I remembered that Meri has a 4H meeting... It's the Christmas party, so we can't miss that! I'll tell you all about my weekend on Monday and you'll be kicking yourself that you didn't want to spend the weekend at Casa McVal's! See when I'll ask YOU again!!
Made some fudge just before work using milk chocolate chips and some fresh craisins. YUM! A friend had bought a kit that contained a package of chocolate chips, a can of sweetened condensed milk, a tiny packet of vanilla and it cost about $5! I figured I knew how to use a measuring cup and how to use the can opener... Over the years, I've tweaked the recipe. So here it is. It's a keeper! and easily remember-able, if that's a word.
1 package of chocolate chips, any flavor (aka 2 cups)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
dump into a bowl and microwave until its all mixed smoothly together, about a minute to 1.5 minutes.
add
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 or more of craisins or anything else you like in fudge... nuts, M&Ms, etc.
Mix together and pour into a pan that is already lined with wax paper and sprayed with a smidge of Pam type spray. Stick it in the fridge and wait for good time to eat it. Like for that Christmas get-together with the girls, a little goodie plate for the local auto service guy, a mid morning snack, or whenever. Leave a knife with it so you can easily cut out a piece whenever you want.
That's about it!
Hmmm.. I'm about due for a snack...

Hum, that sounds easy enough. As for my week-end, it sounds like I'm going to be watching the snow and/or ice ;o/
That does sound good and easy!
sounds cinchy - i might be able to pull it off with just the one arm...the ingredients are on the market list!
