I chose 1914, probably because there were a lot of wars declared that year AND Vogue had their 1st annual fashion show. So 2014 is going to be a big year!!!
Oh hey! I found my camera and I've got pictures!
We got a good big snow 1.5 weeks ago and Leon had just gotten snow boots, so I took him outside to play in it that Sunday. This is the weekend before Christmas, so it was a very white Christmas around here.
I wanted Leon to do a snow angel and he just wasn't understanding me so I pushed him back into the snow and manually moved his arms and legs for him. Just as I stepped back to get a picture tho, he scrambled to get up. MAD...
I let him play a little bit more and it was hilarious to see him try and get into the rocking chair on his own. I shall be henceforth known to him as the "Laughs at me Grandma". Honest... it's WITH you!!!
After we came inside to warm up, I wrapped presents in my office and Leon dug through the toys I keep out there. He found our old operation game! One or two of the body parts were still with it and after replacing the batteries which I'm REALLY regretting, he got it working!
WORST SURGEON EVAH...
Monday, we filled up the whole day! Got some chiropractic work done that morning, some shopping, then lunch out, shopping, more shopping, got a molar yanked, got mocked for my talking with cotton in my mouth, more shopping, supper out, Jolly Holiday Lights, then a wee bit more shopping at Sam's Club, because who wants frozen milk by the end of the day?
This was Leon's favorite exhibit! Because it's not Christmas without a lit up tractor!!
And this Santa had his hand on my waist... Leon STILL wouldn't have anything to do with him this year! I couldn't even get a picture of him crying on his lap, Leon was that adamant.
He got a "new to him" big boy bed with a new Teenage Mutant Ninja turtle bedding and a little tv nook! He LOVES it, but won't go to sleep on it unless we put him in already asleep. I'll fight with him when he's 15 about it...
And then making cookies on Tuesday with Mom and Dad for Santa. Some of those cookies would give you diabetes just by looking at them.
That's probably enough pictures for today. I'm sure you're as burned out as I am!
Have a great New Years Eve tonight and get a lot of sleep tomorrow morning! Bagpipes at midnight around these parts!!!

Happy New Year to you too!
AW Leon, You have ta give your grammie ONE good picture with Santa. But the one you have will make for some grand memories!
That snow angel photo is hilarious! It's even greater that he's fussing there. Ha!
Loving the "fresh" Santa!
Happy New Year to you and your family! Be safe!
I love the pictures!
And if you shoved me down in the snow and moved my arms just to get a shot, I probably wouldn't be happy with you either.
