The attitude of a Grinch

As usual, the camera is in a car that is not home right now...

On Saturday, Meri and I attended our annual ASG sewing group style show.  GREAT time!  Duct tape Maddy made her modeling debut and bragged about her tummy tuck and boob job from the evening before.  She modeled Maddy's prom dress from last spring and sported it around the room on a uni-cycle type pole with a roller blade duct-taped to the bottom.

A little precarious and she acted tipsy at times...

Meri modeled the Mishonne from The Walking Dead cape and vest that I'd made for her for Halloween.  She almost backed out of modeling them and after I talked her back into it, she almost ran down the aisle runway just to get it over with.

After that, Robb & Leon picked up Meri and they ran a few errands while I got to go Christmas shopping alone!!!  Well, until I got paged from work and had to head home a little earlier than I'd planned.

Oh well, such is the life of an elf.  I mean programmer..  I've been watching too much Rudolph and other Christmas movies lately!

I was in the Christmas spirit 5 weeks ago up until last Thursday.  Now it's kind of in a hiatus of sorts.  Got back into the spirit for about 30 minutes on Saturday wrapping a few presents with Leon, then at my bestie's house last night for our annual Norwegian Christmas with them!  But now it's gone away again.  Hopefully Maddy can help snap me out of this funk when she comes home later in the week.  We're looking forward to hitting Jolly Holiday Lights while she's home!  That and more cloves for the oranges might pull me back in...

The Scooby Doo Christmas dvds just aren't cutting it.

Anyway, no pics today.  darn.

What did you do this weekend?

Oh, get back in the spirit! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I want everyone to be happy and festive.

I am trying to picture the modelling you described and just can get it to work. LOL!

Sounds like you need to watch some 'vintage' shows like White Christmas or The Christmas Story. Helps me when I'm not in a jolly mood ;o)

I agree with Mama.Bonnie up there. We watched two Christmas parades. The second one is hilariou every year. I will post pics this week sometime. I was disappointed they didn't throw toilet paper from the outhouse float this year...
