We had a busy weekend! I do believe we'll need 2 more days to recover, thank you very much.
Friday, over lunch, I finished the two scarves that Maddy had intended to make for her bestest college buds, out of this. They're both girls. I needed them done so I could take them to her on Saturday.
Unfortunately my camera is in the car that went with Robb this morning, so tomorrow will be a big picture day. For now, I'll just give you a quick run down to explain my bodily run down...
Friday night, attended the annual Christmas dinner with Robb at his place of employment! Had a great time, great conversations and great food. Thanks Doe! Can't wait to use our gift certificate!
Got home and put together everything I'd need for Saturday. Well, at least as much as I could remember...
Saturday morning, attended my bestie's cookie making day. It was actually a goodie making day for Meri and me, as we hadn't brought any cookie fixings out. Meri made candied pretzels while I made mint chocolate fudge that wouldn't set and then helped decorate. Then with the other ladies that showed up, we enjoyed a nice lunch with Christmas music after all the work was done.
Robb picked us up from there and we left our car in their driveway. Headed to COLLEGE TOWN to visit our middle child! Hi MADDY! Got there around 4 or so and Leon had a blast doing his ministry of silly walks down the dorm hallways and charming every girl he passed. We took Maddy and her room mate out for an early supper. The cafeteria food is good, but the girls get caught in a rut as to what to eat with so many choices. Mostly settling for pickles and chocolate pudding. Oh! and coffee.
THEN the Christmas concert! I think about 90 percent of the student body participated in either the various orchestras, choirs or handbells... There were a LOT of kids there AND a lot of parents! The folks behind us were there from Wisconsin to see their son in it! It was beautiful. Leon attempted to sing along, but mostly enjoyed hiding underneath my pashmina... (scarf). We watched parts of the streaming that the college does online of the concert and felt a little of what Maddy feels like when we stalk her! We found ourselves online easily in the pews and could see Leon doing his gymnastics back and forth between all of us. He was rambunctious...
Sunday after church, Meri & I attended her 4H Club Christmas party. Candy and food at every turn this weekend! So much fun in all the things we did this weekend, but suddenly the weekend was over...
I have no idea how that happens!
Gotta run! Have to take a dog to the vet this morning!!! Talk at you tomorrow with photos to back up my stories.

Girl, I don't even know how you do it all. Are you making infinity scarves? All the rage here.
