A Day in the Life

So the day was Christmas day!  Here is a snap shot of what Christmas day looked like for the McVal family this year.

The photo yesterday was the beginning of the day!  After we managed to catch and dress him, he had to do some swinging.

Only then is he ready to jump into the gifts with both feet.

He LOVED the clothes!  And a little while later, you'll see a costume change because of it.

So very very meticulous about his unwrapping that we thought it would take ALL morning...  We had church the night before so thankfully we weren't in a time crunch.  By the way, he LOVED his tractor!  I thought I had a good picture of it, but oh well, that's what the rest of the year is for.

 Meri was delighted with her "What Does A Fox Say" tee shirt!

And Maddy with her Grumpy Cat shirt.  This one came from somewhere else tho.

All is fun and games until...

 The new remote control car runs right toward you like it's possessed!

Leon made this at daycare for his family!  So stinking cute!!!

Then after a lunch with just us, the girls spent part of the afternoon out in the snow making snow angels and lots and lots of fun memories with Leon.

That evening, the kids dug into a game that my college friend, Kim, sent.

 

And Leon played with his blocks.

Ah...  Christmas!  It REALLY doesn't seem like it should be over yet...  I guess it will hit me when all the kids go back to school next week.
