Random Puppetry

The tree is down finally!  Tuesday night, Robb and I pulled it over and pulled the pieces apart.  Then he and Ryan packed it away and stowed it back in the garage.  Whew!  SO much room in there now!  Well, until we get all Leon's toys back in...  I think some will stay packed away.  We'll let it be Christmas in July maybe.

I'm planning on bringing in Maddy's old bouncy horse from the garage.  He should LOVE that!  There's room for it now anyway.

Also, got a TV that we'll put in there for videos.  We don't typically have a TV in the living room, but it's nice to have one in there if the girls have friends over for a movie or if Leon just wants to watch one without having to sit at the kitchen counter.

It's snowing!

Was frantically working on getting a big programming project done yesterday and by 4pm realized that I shouldn't be pushing it so hard since the old program is working great!  I need to make sure this new one is working correctly before dropping it in.  I forgot why I thought there was a deadline for it...  Self imposed one, I guess.

Leon and I shared some pizza at Sam's Club last night after a little grocery shopping.  He likes to "walk" in between bites.

Meri is working on a report for school.  She thought she'd do it on Tim Berners-Lee.  Anyone know who he is??  The man who invented the internet!  I know... You thought it was someone else.  Ryan had done one on him many years ago and apparently Meri's teacher remembered and said no.  She's now researching Jim Henson.

Gotta run.  Another self imposed deadline that has some weight to it in an hour for another programming assignment.

Hang on!!! Tomorrow is Friday!!!

Sounds as though life is keeping you quite busy. That's a good thing, yes? :) My boys love to go to Sam's Club w/me...only so they can eat on the cheap at the food bar. They eat, I shop. It's a win-win.

PS - I remember I cried the day I learned Jim Henson died. I felt as though I lost a part of my childhood. What a contribution he made!

I really don't know how you get it all done.
And that teacher has a great memory! I can't remember what I had for lunch.

Your posts make me feel incredibly lazy....even after I spent 9 1/2 hours at work today.

Jim Henson sounds like good plan.
