Mid Week Rambling

Well, it's the middle of the week already...  I can smell the weekend from here!  I get to see Maddy this weekend!!  Her children's theater production is on Saturday and most of us are headed up to see her.  I can't wait!

Plus we're picking up the keys for her storage unit so she can store things like the futon, tv and fridge as well as winter clothes that she won't need over the summer.  Like she would in Minnesota...  Because it's cold there.  She can charge some of her friends $5 a month to store their dorm fridges and whatnots.  She might actually get her unit for a LOT cheaper!  It's not a huge one, but will fit a quite a bit.

We're working on how to fit her things and herself back into the house.  I think a bedroom shuffle and overhaul is needed before the middle of May...
Someone had moved into her room, so we need to rethink things.

The trees are budding out finally!  I saw the hostas finally peeking through the dirt yesterday!  Well, it might not be that they're growing all that fast, but rather the heavy rains of the past couple days washed some of the dirt away.  Those might be roots.

Did my usual snooping and found Maddy in chapel on Arbor day!  Sorry to make you paranoid Maddy!  We just love you so much!  *imagine me sticking out my lips and pinching your cheek as I say that...*

She's wearing the black headband, smack in the middle of the photo.

Found her later on the college website raking and making a silly face for the photographer.

Meri had her last concert/jazz band concert last night.  Leon kept having to go to the bathroom at bad times and talk.  The people around us thought it was cute... we think...
*sorry to screw up your videotaping ma'am...*

She sounded great with the clarinet during concert band and I could hear her saxophone during the jazz performance!  She didn't do a solo, but there were no squeaks anywhere!  Our middle school band director does such a great job teaching these kids!  He retires after next year, so that will suck.  It'll be extremely hard to replace him.

The picture below either involved Caillou or Dora....  Much as it pains me to watch either of them, it makes him so happy.  And it's not Barney, so...  we have that.

Well, off to get work done and save lives.  Not necessarily in that order.  Talk to you tomorrow and maybe I'll have some sewing to show off!!  Digging through my stash over lunch today to find something to use for a lining on Meri's dress.  It WILL be stash fabric, I tell you!!!
