Catty-ness in sewing

Got a LOT done on the dress yesterday!  Where's my list...?

1) take one pleat half way out on the back of the bodice for each side.

2) Put in neckline facing.

3) hem skirt

4) fix the panels on the lining the same way that I'd done the skirt and attach.

5) hem lining.

6) fix back right above zipper so the zipper pulls up right to the white part.  It's off JUST a little.

7) hand sew on the hook and eyes.  I'll need two sets on the back.

8) possibly add some elastic where the bodice and skirt meet..

9) take in the sides by another half inch.

I have added a one new item tho.
10) Repair arm binding at the armpits, where I took it in...

I did find a couple other things to correct or basting to remove along the way, so 4 items off my list is actually more like 63.

Oh and there was no nap. 

When I was a kid, if I took a nap after school, I'd wake up around supper time and wonder why Mom is cooking liver and onions for breakfast and why is everyone watching Hogan's Hero's when they should be getting ready for school?!...  I'd be totally messed up.  It's about the same now if I nap during the day.
But sometimes it would be SO nice...

Anyway.  Today is Meri's LAST day of Middle school!!!
The last day of all the middle school catty-ness and cliques!
High school is going to be awesome for her!

That is if she can get her sister to quit trying to pick her up for photos...
